Bunkers Group of Companies is a company incorporated in September 2007 with three subsidiaries companies, Bunkers Petroleum, Bunkers Properties and Bunkers Haulage.
The company was incorporated in September 2007. It started full business operation with the acquisition of a filling station for petroleum products in Ibadan, the south-west region of Nigeria. Bunkers Petroleum Limited (BPL) has however grown to being a major player within Ibadan, Lagos and its environs as one of the main distributors of petroleum products at the most affordable cost to customers.
Bunkers Petroleum Limited (BPL) is a limited liability company registered in Nigeria with the corporate Affairs Commission, and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), to operate as a business organization in the downstream sector of the Oil & Gas Industry.
Bunkers Petroleum Limited (BPL) specializes in the sourcing and distribution of petroleum by-products such as Automated Gas Oil (AGO), Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), and Dual-Purpose Kerosene (DPK), from the major importers to the end users of the products.
Bunkers Petroleum Limited (BPL) is presently one of the major players within the downstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry of Nigeria. The company plans to make itself visible and dominate within the next 10 years.

Our Objectives
Increase our fleet of trucks to 120, within the next 3 years.
Acquisition of 20 additional filling stations across the nation, for proximity to our retailers within the next 10 years.
To purchase a 30,000 MT (Metric Tonnes) storage facility for Base Oil, PMS, DPK, and Gas Oil in Lagos state.
This will facilitate our goals of importing or locally purchasing petroleum products in bulk from fellow importers.
Acquisition of a Bitumen storage facility in Port Harcourt, Rivers State of Nigeria, to serve as a base for the company’s south–south operations within the country.
